There are two packages to choose from:

Package 1: ONLY $99.00 per year includes 6 photos slots and 1 video slot.

Can people email each other through iStunt?

Yes! This is a great way for people to reach out to others... and possibly get added to one’s favorites list. (The favorites list is private, so no one can see your personalized iStunt Book!) (iStunt Book is a registered trademark of iStunt, Inc.)

Emailing each other profiles is much easier and faster than searching through the entire database for Stunt Professionals you know and trust.  iStunt encourages members to search, find and email all the stunt professionals they trust.  Help them easily find you, so they can 'add' you to their favorites list.  Furthermore, as time passes, we all know how easy it is to loose sight of excellent stunt professionals we’ve worked with in the past... ~ that said, email them your profile! "Out of sight, out of mind."

IMPORTANT: iStunt encourages people to NOT  “over email” Stunt Coordinators if you don’t know them personally.  If you do, you'll probably bother them... which will do more harm to YOU than good.  No one wants to be bothered, and iStunt doesn't want people to be bothered either.  That said, send an email once, with a link to your iStunt profile... and if they wish to add you, they will.  Nevertheless, you'll never know if they've added you or not.  So don’t ask.  iStunt profile Favorites List's are confidential, unless members wish to verbally share who is in their book.  Again, no one will ever know if they’ve been added to a “Favorites List.”

~ This helps prevent... "drama."

Can I save the Mobile Website Application to my Android / Smart-Phone?

Yes you can!  As mentioned above, simply go to iStunt.com in your phone's internet browser (such as safari, firefox or explorer) and simply save a link to your phone.  iStunt will then be easily and instantly accessible from your smart-phone.   From there, simply click on the icon, like any smart-phone-application... and iStunt will directly launch on your phone!

You can save a ‘short-cut -icon’ of your iStunt profile too!  Just follow the same steps above.

Why does iStunt list Unions other than SAG?

Well, with productions going World Wide, and stunt coordinators finding the need to locate 'Local Hire' Stunt professionals in their specific production area, iStunt felt, in order to stay ahead of an inevitable global film network, that it had to create a ‘one stop source’ for National and International stunt professionals.  iStunt has made this possible!  Listing many world wide Unions will pleasantly give the Stunt Coordinator, or Casting agent, the specifics they need to narrow their search criteria.  SAG is only one of many Unions out there (AFTRA, DGA, etc).

Does iStunt search quickly or slowly?

iStunt is currently functioning on some of the most high-tech, technologically advanced servers modern day technology has to offer!  So even with thousands of videos being played on it simultaneously, iStunt will load and run at optimum speed!

However, if you do find that your mobile phone service is running slow, unfortunately, that’s out of iStunt’s control... and that’s something one needs to take up with their phone service provider.  iStunt can only function as fast as your service provider allows us to function.

Is iStunt Ok for Stunt Kids?

Yes, we do allow underage performers* and have other Stunt Kids on already... we also keep a confidential list outside of viewable profiles on iStunt (due to the heavy traffic iStunt receives not all parents want them to have a profile, so be sure to get me their age, skill-set, training, etc).

*Nevertheless, if your kids are of a certain age and qualify, and do wish to have an iStunt profile, all contact information must be that of the legal parent or guardian, of course.  There can be no data that allows outsiders to contact children (or anyone under 18 years old) directly via there iStunt profile, not even social media links or email address

Will iStunt set up my profile if I don’t have time?

Absolutely!

Here’s what you’ll need to mail:

-       Package (1) or (2)

-       Headshot

-       Resume

-       Additional pictures, still photos, etc. (if any)

Please include headshot, resume and photos so we can build your profile for you... if you wish. ;)

Will iStunt build and organize my Favorites list if I don't have time?

Yes! ~ Just email us a link of all your favorite guys, and we'll find them on iStunt (if they are registered).  We will then customize your favorites! ;)

Is there going to be a bunch of ‘random people’ registered on iStunt, whereas my stunt searches always come back cluttered up?

NO.  As long as you are specific in your search criteria, your returned results will be right-on-point.  Though there will be a bunch of stunt professionals on this site, from many unions, etc., the search criteria is all up to YOU, or whomever is searching.  The power is at your fingertips; you’re in control of ‘who’ pops up in your search.

Here’s an example: lets say, ‘a Stunt Coordinator wants to find a Blonde Haired, Blue eyed, 6’0” tall, 205lbs “SAG” stuntman.’ ...it’s up to the coordinator to specify those details in his/her iStunt Search.  Remember, if one selects SAG, one will NOT get a bunch of non-union people in their search (even though there aren't really any non-union members on iStunt at this time.)  **Nevertheless, those who deny memberships to non-union or not-yet-union members on an 'employment opportunist site', like a Stunt Directory, are subject to discriminatory lawsuits.  FYI.

~ However... all that said, It really is simple to avoid a cluttered up search.

Moreover, if you’d like to find really experienced stunt professionals, simply select the “iStunt Certified” button, and you’ll get the experienced talent you’re looking for.

(To answer your question... read the next question :)

What is the “iStunt Certified” option?

“iStunt Certified” is an option for those seeking very-experienced stunt professionals.  After asking many top film and television stunt coordinators, “what is an experienced stunt professional to you,” ~ this is what they came up with:

2 out of 3... of the following criteria:

  • 20 or more credits on their IMDB resume, or…
  • 20 or more certifiable stunt contracts (multiple TV episodes, etc) or…
  • At least 3 references from iStunt Verified Stunt Coordinators.

iStunt will take the time to review every searchable profile on iStunt!  iStunt will then research them thoroughly, to see if they qualify to be included in the “iStunt Certified” searches.  iStunt will call stunt coordinators, check the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB), etc, then iStunt will personally ‘mark’ the individual profiles that fall in this category.

If you have not been marked as “iStunt Certified” (you'll know if you don't show up in iStunt Certified searches), or if you feel that you should be in the “iStunt Certified” listing, then please let us know by emailing iStunt at: certified@istunt.com

What if I see a profile that has false credits, nudity or other profanity?

iStunt.com is a professional website, so we must get rid of all profanity.  Moreover, since you’re a professional using this professional directory service, it’s crucial that you let us know of any profane profiles.  iStunt will be doing 'specialized searches' for these profiles as well.  Please abide by these rules, or your profile will be deleted.  iStunt has a "No Refund" policy.

Once notified, iStunt will first verify any allegations... if they are correct, iStunt will move to delete and ban those members from iStunt.com.  Furthermore, if you see someone being dishonest in their resume credits, please let iStunt know and we’ll promptly review, reference, verify and if needed, remove those profiles too.  iStunt has ZERO tolerance for DISHONEST RESUME CREDITS and ALL PROFANITY.

There are absolutely NO refunds; so if your profile is removed do to iStunt’s terms and conditions being violated, it's not iStunt’s responsibility.

Why does iStunt have an ‘other’ section? ~ Is this for non-union people?

This is Simple.

~ Please read this answer in its entirety though, as it’s one of the most important questions for you to understand.  This is not just a complicated subject in the stunt community, but its a complicated subject legally.

- First, have NO fear my fellow Union Members:

...non-union up-and-comers will NEVER show up in YOUR search results UNLESS YOU do a ‘non-union’ search selection.  It really is that simple to avoid this issue folks.  That said, simply select “SAG” or, select the Union Affiliation you’re looking for, and you’ll find the registered Stunt Professionals you need for your project.  Again, it’s that simple.

- Secondly, ‘other’ could mean a variety of things: i.e., non-union folks, or members of Unions not yet specified (like the new Motion Capture Union being formed) or even Extreme Sports specialty-guys who can do a back flip on a snowmobile, or ride a snow ski on a uni-cycle seat.  (Yes, they’re out there.)

These ‘others’ may not be SAG at the moment, yet directors, producers, stunt coordinators and studios sometimes request such unique talent for such unique shots.  Sometimes productions need talent that may not be a member of your union, or SAG, at the moment.  That said, this is why a category like this is needed.

A prime example of this is a story iStunt's founder heard where an action coordinator needed a guy who could actually do a back flip on a POGO Stick!  This unique talent was hard to find and there didn’t seem to be any SAG stuntmen at the time that could do so? So this stunt coordinator was caught in a tough spot and couldn't provide the talent in a timely fashion.  ~ However, we’re happy to say that iStunt will help change this by uniting needed talent under one umbrella!

- Thirdly, many extreme-sport-professional-athletes get their SAG card because they can do ONE trick that most stunt pro’s cannot do (iStunt heard this from stunt coordinators we've interviewed).  Nevertheless, directors, producers and studios sometimes request their specific talent and if the stunt coordinator cannot produce such talent, it reflects poorly on them. iStunt is THE hub to find ‘whatever’ stunt professional YOU need.

~ All that said, and knowing that this may disappoint some people... please just think back to your beginnings:  ‘where we all were non-union.'  Again, at one point in our careers, we were working on non-union projects... so we all know how it feels to be a non-union future-professional struggling to pursue our dreams...

iStunt wants to give everyone a shot to get some-sort of recognition... AND this FACT still remains:  the next generation of filmmakers, shooting in their back yards, or at Colleges and Universities around the world (USC, UCLA, etc), may someday need either a non-union stunt player, or a Union Stunt Professional for their production.

Wherever the next generation of filmmakers may spring-up in this country, or the world, sometimes, those filmmakers cannot use SAG members or other Union Professionals.  So lets give them a shot to get their projects done by allowing ‘others’ to join iStunt.  Remember, people will not show up in YOUR search results if you select the UNION AFFILIATION you want to search within.   iStunt can search your “Favorites” list first as well, and if you're SAG, I'm sure the vast majority of your favorites will be SAG too... so we encourage you to ‘Build your Book’ by adding people to your Favorites List.

...and to conclude, this may-just-be the most serious of them all: for legal purposes, iStunt cannot take the chance of receiving 'discriminatory lawsuits' by preventing people from joining an ‘employment based listing opportunity’ due to union criteria. ~ Your understanding is appreciated.

What is Build Your Own Book?

Build your own book is one of the best features on iStunt!  Registered stunt professionals, stunt coordinators, casting directors and agents alike, can ‘ADD’ their favorite stunt professionals to their “Favorites” folder!  Their 'private' favorites folder.  Then, whenever they do a stunt search, their favorites will show up FIRST... and at the top, of their returned search results! (select this option)

Also, every registered iStunt members' “private folder" cannot be viewed by anyone, except you, the user.  This will avoid any quarrels about -who is in who’s Favorites List.  Again, your favorites folder can ONLY be viewed by you!

This is better than a printed book as 'The second you print a directory, it is outdated.'  Instead, simply use your computer, iPad, or smart phone... and access your digital favorites!  This option saves paper, money, time, is always updated and even allows you to review videos. ;)

Why is iStunt so unique?

iStunt is very unique!  As mentioned above, it is the most technologically advanced (patent pending) stunt directory ever created.  Accessible from any smart phone in the world, using true mobile application technology, iStunt puts everything you need, right at your fingertips!

iStunt allows you to view pictures, headshots, résumé’s... or watch reels!  All on your mobile phone, mobile device, ipad, or computer.  Furthermore, iStunt.com registered users can easily update their profiles at anytime, for FREE!  Unlike other sites in the Entertainment world, there is no charge per picture, or per video... nor any charge for updating those pictures or videos!  And when you make those updates, they will sync with the iStunt mobile-web-application almost instantly!

So update and modify your profile, at your leisure!

Does iStunt feature a stunt professional on its home page, daily?

We are working on this feature! ~ iStunt will randomly select one stuntman or stuntwoman daily to “Feature" on iStunt.com.  Though we cannot promise you that you’ll be ‘the one’ selected, it still is a great opportunity to get your profile out for the world to see!  Remember, “out of sight, out of mind” ...so this will be a helpful reminder to all!

This "Featured Profile" element is just one, of the many added bonus’ iStunt offers to its registered stunt professionals.  So check back daily, as you never know when YOU might be today’s featured Stunt Professional!

Can I, or Production Companies, find Stunt Coordinators and 2nd Unit Directors on iStunt?

Yes you can!  iStunt is THE worlds top directory for finding anyone associated with entertainment-production-stunts.  With iStunt’s launch, many studios are excited about the quick Stunt Coordinators and 2nd Unit Director search opportunity presented to them.  Résumé’s, Photo’s and Reels will be right at their fingertips for review and consideration for their specific projects.

Why does iStunt use YouTube link-embeds only?

The reason is simple: YouTube is the ONLY format that works with almost-all Smart phones.  Also, most stunt professionals with action reels, already have them uploaded to YouTube.  Nevertheless, once technology improves in the mobile market, iStunt will gladly add a feature where one can upload their QuickTime and WMV reel files directly to iStunt.

If you don’t know how to get your video up on iStunt, take advantage of our ‘iStunt Builder’ service.  (iStunt Builder is a registered trademark of iStunt, Inc.)  This is a FREE service! ;)

Why iStunt is better than a printed Book?

First off, iStunt does offer a Build Your Own book service! This service puts you in control and monitors who you have in your personalized Stunt book, this way, you know you will not have a universal stunt book that is filled with peoplel you know you will not hire.

~ HOWEVER, in regards to 'why' iStunt is better than a printed book... well, its simple: its because one cannot modify or change an already-printed book.

Neverthless, iStunt subscribers can change their profile, update their pictures, update their resume, update their reel, at any time, 24-7!  Furthermore, current printed Stunt Directories are distributed bi-annually at best, causing those directories to be less accurate... because a stunt professional’s ‘look’ and resume almost always changes!

Testimonial:

"iStunt is what I use because in an ever-changing, evolving business, you need something that keeps up with the industry. The days of carrying bulky books around are over. You find who you need fast, and you can forward that info easily to others who need it. It's simple, well maintained, and as pro as you get in a business that doesn't usually give you a second chance to make an impression!"

~ Jeff Wolfe, VP, Stuntmen's Association

Is iStunt compatible with the new iPad?

~ YES! iStunt is ahead of the technological curve... and has prepped it's code to be seamless with the new iPad technology!  We will continue to bring top-notch applications to your mobile devices! Our apps can be found in the App store.  Know that as we roll these out, if we find issues, we will address them and always update our technology.

What if I’m submitting my profile to a movie and I want to send a specific Photo or Video from my profile?  Can I do this?

~ YES! ~ Just click the photo you wish to send.  When it pops up, just click the icon on the bottom-righ of the photo and email that individual shot.  You can do the SAME thing with your videos too!  Furthermore, you can also... email your sizes only! Just click "Email Wardrobe"...! This feature was introduced by Keith Campbell and Mic Rodgers.

Why does every video open-up in a new Page or Window?

The reason is this: lets say you wish to email a specific video; your video needs to have its own ‘online’ location.  Directors may not want to search your profile for what they want.  A stunt coordinator may want to submit only ONE photo or video of you for approval.  This will help you get work... by simplifying everything.

However, if you have the choice, I suggest you send your entire profile link and give people more to look at, at-first-glance!  No need to limit yourself with one photo or video.

Can you print my favorites list, and send it to me in Book format?

~ YES~ Simply Email iStunt at: mybook@istunt.com

We do this so you don't have a book filled with people you don't need, but instead... only those whom you want.  But remember, the problem

with books are that the second you print them, they are out of date.

What is the ‘iStunt Side-Jobs’ listing? - (Coming Soon)

'iStunt job listings' is a feature that iStunt hopes will help stunt professionals who are not working at the moment, make some extra cash.

Let’s be real, many stunt performers do not work year round.  Productions may slow down, some may be unemployed due to injury, etc.   Despite these, and many other factors, we still have families to feed and bills to pay.  ‘iStunt Side Jobs’ is a listing where stunt professionals, who may need work done, try to hire fellow stunt professionals.

For example, lets say someone needs work done around their house: be it painting a fence, working on a car engine, plumbing, construction, electrical, yard work, errands, or whatever it may be.  Maybe its computer work, editing, organizing files, or emails... or even child day care, etc. iStunt hopes that the people in the Stunt community will ‘take care of their own’  by hiring stunt professionals who wouldn’t mind picking up some extra cash to get-by, or maybe, just to stay active and busy.

iStunt figures: "if your going to spend the money to hire someone anyway, why not help support those in the Stunt Industry."

That said, I know we 'tough stunt professionals' have pride, and we may not want the world to know that we’re not working at the moment, or are having a hard time.  So, iStunt encourages people to not ‘name names’ or post their names to listings.  Simply put, the job you need done (yard work, etc), hourly rate and a contact number, and those who wouldn’t mind doing the work, can call them up and get working!

I hire people all the time.  I try to hire those in our field who don’t want to take a day job in hopes of keeping their stunt dreams alive.  I understand tough times, and have taken ‘side jobs’ of my own in the past.  This is a very helpful service if the stunt community puts it to use.  Let us all try to keep this service in mind when we’re busy, yet need ‘Side Jobs’ done.

Remember too… you never know ‘who’ in this networking industry, you might meet as well. ;)
